2010 Printmaking Classes / Workshops

The 2-6 hour printmaking classes/workshops that we teach are fun and friendly art classes, designed to introduce basic printmaking processes and techniques that you can continue at home after the classes have finished. Whether you have previous drawing or painting experience or just fancy starting a different creative course, then these classes are for you. Please read on for futher information and details of forthcoming workshops in 2010.

Classes at Salisbury Arts Centre in 2008

Each session begins with a clear demonstration on a particular technique or topic, followed by plenty of time to explore and experiment, with guidance and help at every stage. By sharing comments and ideas between the group it helps everyone involved at whatever level of experience to develop their own work and discuss with likeminded people.

The classes and workshops consist of a variety of different themes and techniques including monoprinting, collograph, drypoint, woodcut and linocut, but will also investigate ways to explore your subject matter through print.
