There is quite a few to do so please bear with me as I get these ready for delivery. If you have placed an order already you should receive yours by the end of next week at the latest.

In case you missed out on the pre-orders, or aren’t aware of the book at all, please do read on to find out more about Beginner’s Guide to Linocut and for how to order one of the first signed copies in the UK.

A Beginners Guide to Linocut

10 print projects with top techniques to get you started

This is the brand new book created over the past two years in collaboration with arts and crafts publishers Search Press.

This book has been a fun adventure into linocut, and all with the aim of sharing one of my passions with as many new people as possible. I love teaching linocut and sharing this creative printmaking technique through workshops and courses. This book is a follow up (and slightly different approach) to my first book, Learning Linocut, this time exploring 10 set projects with the accompanying techniques. I have tried and tested many of these projects on students in workshops over the years so know that these projects really work. We keep it simple, provide colour photos (super-high res ones) and give plenty of opportunity to practice cutting skills and image interpretation. It has a very different look and feel to Learning Linocut which is more of a packed out ‘how-to’ guide than this project-based book.

Beginner’s Guide to Linocut is perfect if you are a creative type and are new to linocut but also great if you are an experienced artist or printmaker looking for a new shiny book to drool over… (I have soooo many printmaking, art and craft books myself!!)

Details of the book can be found over in the shop here:

About The Book

This book is a practical guide to creating linocut prints suitable for beginners as well as experienced artists. It combines technique-based projects that practice your cutting and image interpretation skills with creating unique handmade gifts. There are loads of high quality images, stey-by-step guides and even templates for you to work through as you learn linocutting. It has been a joy to create, so much fun and I am so happy that this book is finally available after two years in the pipeline!

Book Description
